During his years in South America, Master Alejandro acquired many personal accomplishments:
• Received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education
• Became a registered Message Therapist and Reflexologist
• Became a Taekwondo teacher at the UAA University in Paraguay
• National Boxing Champion from 1978 to 1982
• Participated in the Olympic Elimination games in 1990
• Pan-American Tournament Champion 1992
• International and Open Tournament Champion in 1993, 1994 and 1995
• Won the National Title in Kickboxing in 1995
• Uruguay Champion in Formula and Sparring in 1996
• Won the Chile Championship and Open Tournament
• Was an International Referee and was on the Technical Committee from 1994-2000
• Was a member of the Olympic Committee in the solidarity department from 1993-2000
Won awards while in Canada: 1st place champion in the National Open Tournament in Toronto in 2003, and International Tournament Champion in Georgetown in 2004
Reneta Pereira: Vice President
Originally from Plovdiv, Bulgaria
Attended a sports high school specializing in swimming techniques and gymnastics
Has competed in International Swimming Tournaments
After high school she enrolled in a Medical University in Plovdiv specializing in rehabilitation therapy, which is a combination of physiotherapy, message therapy and kinesiology from 1989 to 1992 and again from 2003 to 2004
Has a lifeguard certificate including First Aid and CPR
Speaks 4 languages including Bulgarian, Russian, Hebrew and English
From 1992 to present Reneta has worked in Rehabilitative therapy at many clinics and hospitals and has continued to develop more knowledge in the area
Started Taekwondo in 2005 and achieved her 3rd Dan Black Belt in 2009
Is the Instructor of 3 – 5 year old childrens program call “Li’l Lions”
She is the administrator of the CFTP and the Instructor of cardio-kickboxing, personal training and weight management program.
Reneta’s future goal is to achieve her 9th Dan Black Belt and spread the spirit of CFTP Taekwondo.
